The University of Turin (UniTO) in Italy has opened applications for the “UniTO for Students at Risk” Scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year. This program targets international students in vulnerable conditions or those holding international protection status, offering them the chance to pursue undergraduate (Bachelor’s) or Master’s studies in Italy with financial support.

Financial Benefits of the UniTO for Students at Risk Scholarship

The UniTO for Students at Risk Scholarship provides recipients with:

  • An annual allowance of €11,000, paid in three installments.
  • Comprehensive administrative support, including academic guidance, psychological counseling, tutoring, and social/cultural integration activities.
  • Free access to all sports facilities of CUS Torino.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship in Italy, applicants must:

  • Be born after January 1, 1997.
  • Hold a valid residence permit in Italy (asylum, refugee status, special or temporary protection, issued since 2019).
  • Possess a recognized foreign qualification that allows enrollment in a Bachelor’s (3 years) or Master’s degree program at UniTO.
  • Demonstrate a minimum B1 level in English or Italian, depending on the language of instruction.
  • Submit the application within the official deadline via the Apply@UniTo platform.

Application Process and Selection

The application procedure is conducted entirely online:

  • Register on Apply@UniTo to validate your foreign qualifications.
  • Fill in this official form using your Apply@UniTo ID.
  • Upload all required documents.

Selection is based on the candidate’s academic background, motivation, and alignment with the chosen program. Final results will be published in October 2025 (Bachelor’s) and November 2025 (Master’s).
