The SINGA (Singapore International Graduate Award) scholarship program is a unique opportunity for international students with an excellent academic track record to pursue a PhD or engineering degree in Singapore. This program is offered in collaboration with several renowned universities, such as Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and others.

SINGA Scholarships Amount
The SINGA scholarship fully covers the tuition fees throughout the duration of the program. Additionally, it provides a monthly stipend of 1,869 euros, which can be increased to 2,215 euros after meeting certain conditions. Other benefits include a relocation allowance of up to 692 euros and a travel allowance for airfare, up to 1,038 euros.
Eligible Study Programs
Selected candidates can choose to pursue a PhD or PhEng degree at one of Singapore’s partner universities. The participating universities are:
- NUS (ranked 8th globally) – PhD
- NTU (15th globally) – PhD
- SUTD (440th globally) – PhD and Engineering (EngD)
- SMU (585th globally) – PhD and Engineering (EngD)
- SIT (unranked) – Engineering (EngD)
These programs focus on research in a wide range of fields, such as biology, engineering sciences, computer science, and more.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the SINGA scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be an international student with excellent academic results in undergraduate and/or master’s studies.
- Have a strong interest in scientific research and a desire to pursue a PhD in science or engineering.
- Be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
