Applications for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship at the University of Burgundy are open for the 2025/2026 academic year.
At the University of Burgundy, Eiffel scholarships can fund Master’s, engineering, and Doctoral programs in the following fields:
- Science and technology: biology and health, ecological transition, mathematics and digital, engineering sciences
- Humanities and social sciences: history, French language and civilization, law, political science, economics and management

How to apply?
To apply for the Eiffel scholarship at the University of Burgundy for the master’s or engineering level, follow these steps:
- Identify the program you wish to pursue at the University of Burgundy in 2025/2026 from the course offerings in your discipline.
- Contact the head of the program by email to obtain their approval. Present your study project and your intention to apply for the Eiffel scholarship and ask what documents you need to provide for them to review your application.
- If you receive a positive response from the program head, contact the uB International Office (bourse-eiffel-master@u-bourgogne.fr) to finalize your file. Attach proof of the program head’s approval.
- The International Office will then send you a link to submit your application along with the required documents.
Warning! The procedures carried out to obtain the Eiffel scholarship do not exempt you from the official application procedure for admission to the University of Burgundy! Be sure to submit your admission application by following the instructions found at this link: u-bourgogne.fr/procedure-etudiants-internationaux-individuels.
