The applications for the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) are now being accepted. The Vanier CGS are among the most prestigious awards for doctoral students in Canada. - Academic excellence: Applicants must have achieved a first-class average in each of the last two years of full-time study.
- Limited duration of doctoral studies: Applicants must not have completed more than 20 months of doctoral studies as of May 1 of the year of application.
- No previous doctoral-level scholarship: Applicants must not hold or have held a doctoral-level scholarship or grant from CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC.
