Eligibility Criteria for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at McGill

- Have never completed a master’s degree before.
- Hold a valid passport. Candidates with dual nationality or refugee status, or who are permanent residents in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom, are not eligible.
- Demonstrate a commitment to their community through social, economic, or political involvement.
- Be under 35 years old at the time of application.
- Plan to return to their home country after graduation to contribute to its development.

Application Procedure for the Mastercard Scholarships at McGill
Interested candidates for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at McGill must complete this application form by October 25, 2024, at 8:00 PM GMT.
After an initial screening, the Mastercard Foundation will contact selected candidates to request additional documents.
Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to submit an application to McGill University. They will be exempted from the application fees and will receive detailed instructions on the application process at McGill.
Once the application is submitted, candidates will wait for the decision from their master’s program department, followed by the final decision from the Mastercard Foundation.
