This program offers a unique opportunity for students from Sub-Saharan Africa to pursue a master’s degree at McGill University. The scholarships are fully funded, and the application deadline is October 25, 2024.

Since its launch in 2012, the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program has supported nearly 40,000 young people in Africa, helping them access secondary and higher education. More than just financial support, this program aims to develop leadership skills and provide comprehensive support to scholars throughout their academic journey.

  • Be under 35 years old at the time of application.

Application Procedure for the Mastercard Scholarships at McGill

Interested candidates for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at McGill must complete this application form by October 25, 2024, at 8:00 PM GMT.

After an initial screening, the Mastercard Foundation will contact selected candidates to request additional documents.

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to submit an application to McGill University. They will be exempted from the application fees and will receive detailed instructions on the application process at McGill.

Once the application is submitted, candidates will wait for the decision from their master’s program department, followed by the final decision from the Mastercard Foundation.
